Capcom's meteoric rise over the last few years has been bolstered by its incredible Resident Evil output, culminating in 2023's top-drawer Resident Evil 4 Remake. This one had particularly tough shoes to fill, but the Japanese game maker managed it - improving on perfection with its Xbox Series X|S effort.
Thanks to a recent price drop following the release of the game's Separate Ways DLC, Capcom's RE4 is now pretty cheap on the Xbox Store, especially when it goes on sale. Right now, we're looking at a solid 50% discount for this Resident Evil 4 reimagining - coming in at less than $20 for one of gaming's best-ever survival horror experiences.

Robocop: Rogue City (Xbox Series X|S)
Robocop: Rogue City is genuinely one of this generation's most impressive Unreal Engine 5 games, which we really didn't expect from this AA outing over at Nacon. With gorgeously gritty visuals, tight gunplay and a focused campaign that hones in on what makes the franchise great, Rogue City is absolutely worth a playthrough on Xbox.
What's more, since the game's inclusion in PlayStation Plus, Nacon seems to be more generous with the game's sale discounts, which suits us just fine. You can now pick this one up for under 10 British pounds on the Xbox Store.

Split/Second (Xbox 360)
Our first and only backwards compatible game on this list, Split/Second must get a mention, especially at a whopping 75% discount. A couple of us here at the office still play this one on the regular - you just can't beat the sort of snappy arcade racing shenanigans that Split/Second still delivers!
While continuing to recommend some of these older Xbox games these days can be tough, Split/Second even still has active multiplayer in 2025, making it an even easier recommendation on this list. Forget this game's age, give Split/Second a go in 2025 and you won't be disappointed. It's so cheap as well!

What Remains of Edith Finch (Xbox One)
Our 10th and final game on this list has been around for a while now, but What Remains of Edith Finch is a stone cold classic - it's probably the best 'walking sim' out there, to be honest. A captivating, at times heart-wrenching story about a family that's been through some sh*t, Edith Finch is the sort of game you just can't put down - even if it is only a few hours long.
What's even better here is that What Remains of Edith Finch recently got a free Xbox Series X|S upgrade, meaning the game really does sing now on modern Xbox hardware. Go and explore the Finch house this spring, the experience is sure to leave its mark on you!
